The China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo is an exhibition jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Hunan Provincial People's Government. It has long been settled in Hunan and is held every two years. The Expo is a new platform for implementing the China-Africa Cooperation Forum economic and trade initiatives and a new window for local economic and trade cooperation. With the theme of “cooperation and win-win, pragmatic promotion of China-Africa economic and trade relations”, the Expo focuses on trade, agriculture, investment and financing, cooperative parks, infrastructure and other fields. It has an exhibition area of 48,000 square meters in eight exhibition areas.


On January 9, 2019, the first China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo Promotion Conference was held in Beijing. From June 27 to 29, 2019, the first China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo will be held in Changsha, Hunan. [1-3]


On June 29, 2019, the first three-day China-Africa Economic and Trade Fair ended in Changsha. During the Expo, China and Africa signed a total of 84 cooperation documents covering trade, investment, infrastructure, agriculture, manufacturing, aviation, tourism and other fields, involving an amount of 20.8 billion US dollars.
